Sparrow Enterprises is a website dedicated to the published works of writer R J Adams. R J held two careers: the first was with the United Kingdom’s major animal welfare charity, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. He served as an Inspector for the society for over a decade. One of the books highlighted here is a based-on-fact novel of life as an RSPCA Inspector in 1970’s Britain.
That book is, “Even Little Sparrows.”
R J’s other career was as the manager of Britain’s second largest inland waterway’s marina. An ardent narrowboat enthusiast, he lived afloat for twelve years and his book, “Yarns of a Professional Gongoozler,” highlights the joys and occasional sadness of his work with the many moorers and ‘gongoozlers’ that passed through his office doorway on a daily basis.

R J also maintains a pseudo-political blog, “Sparrow Chat”, offering insight and opinion based on thirteen years of life in the U.S.A., where he studied the political processes of that country…
…and for six years, because he fancied doing something different, drove a big yellow school bus.
